Moved!

Well H put the leaf springs on the front axles and together we dug her out of the garden corner. Pekay is now sat on the driveway, ready to have her front wings removed so that we can ascertain the state of the chassis.

Here I go again

This is PeJay at the end of December last year ('08) out on a 'lane in the Peak District.

She's been off the road for four months and I've decided that rather than sell her, that I'm going to get her sorted.

What needs doing:

• welding to the front chassis, both sides
• new brake pipes to the front brakes
• new brake servo and front wheel cylinders
• replace handbrake shoes and oil seal
• vacuum breather for the distributor
• new HT leads
• new fanbelt
• replace indicator flasher unit
• replace indicator lenses at front

Other changes to be made:

• removal of roof and sides - to be replaces by frame and tilt
• respray of bodywork in red
• painting of chassis in Hammerite
• clean up and repaint of wheels
• new liner in the rear
